photographer. Yes very true, he loved still photography. My super 8's with Soken performing rohai. The well along side Soken's home, wow, that was the most refreshing water after a hard work out. |

Hohan Soken Shinshii, sitting and observing class. This is the window in which he entered dojo. He utilized this window several times during each class. Only one time in a year and 1/4, while going into his home, Soken's right foot was on the window ceil, and his left foot already iinto his bedroom, his right foot slipped down towards dojo floor. Soken's gi pants didn't even touch the window ceil. His ability at 83 was astonishing. This is what helped Charles Shinshii, to continue the martial arts. |
